Watch The Hu Perform ‘Yuve Yuve Yu’ on Traditional Mongolian Instruments
It's time for a bit of "hunnu rock" from Mongolian rockers The Hu! For this edition of Gear Factor, we invited the band down to Loudwire Studios for a performance of their standout song "Yuve Yuve Yu."
Watch as the guys bring their unique blend of traditional Eastern instrumentation to the intimate confines of Loudwire's performance space, bringing the song to life up close and personal.
In the year since "Yuve Yuve Yu" was released, the song became wildly successful, accumulating over 30 million views on YouTube. "Wolf Totem" also made it well into the eight-figures on YouTube, cementing the Hu as a force in both world music and rock 'n' roll.
The band recently embarked on their first ever North American tour and caught the attention of audiences at the Aftershock Festival, Riot Fest and Las Rageous Festival. Dates for the trek are continuing into early December as they make their way along the West Coast.
