UFC Champ Cain Velasquez Among Headliners for Lucha Libre’s AAA Invading NYC

Legendary MMA fight Champion Cain Velasquez has joined Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, the world’s premier Mexican pro wrestling organization, and will be among the headliners in a star-studded lineup of luchadores for the upcoming “Invading NY” event at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden, on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 6pm.

Velasquez made his AAA premiere recently at Triplemania XXVII on Aug. 3rd in Mexico City, when he teamed up with popular luchadores Cody Rhodes, Psycho Clown, Texano Jr., Taurus and others. “Invading NY” will be Velasquez’s first U.S. appearance with Lucha Libre AAA since his affiliation with AAA was announced in March. Cain is also scheduled to appear at the “Invading LA” event scheduled for 6PM on Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Forum in Los Angeles.
