Summer is here and things are heating up, especially in the record stores and online retailers where a wealth of hard rock and metal acts are vying for your dollars with their new albums. We at Loudwire want to know which of the July releases you most want to pick up, so we've devised this poll to determine which new offering you think should be the July Release of the Month.

It all starts on July 1, where Blink-182, Chelsea Grin, Fates Warning and Wolf Hoffmann have new releases. On July 8, Chevelle, Nonpoint, Vanna and Rage join new supergroup Gone Is Gone in offering fresh music. On July 15, you can look for The Temperance Movement, James Durbin and 9Electric dropping discs.

Things pick up toward the end of the month, with Periphery, (hed) p.e., Black Crown Initiate, Revocation, Witherscape, Crown the Empire, Despised Icon and Aeges all offering new discs on July 22. And rounding out the month on July 29, it's the return of Descendents, along with new releases from 3 Pill Morning, Billy Talent, D Generation, Ringworm, Valient Thorr and Zodiac.

So take a look at all the big new July releases below and then let us know which album you think should be named our Release of the Month. You can vote once per hour through the deadline of June 30 at 11:59PM ET, and the winning entrant will be featured in a post proclaiming it Loudwire's July 2016 Release of the Month. So make sure the disc you want comes out on top by voting in the poll below.
