The death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins continues to reverberate through the music community, with many musicians paying their respects to the late drummer through song. You can add Shinedown to the growing list, as the band dug a little deeper in the Foos catalog and performed the song "Wheels" during their April 11 show in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The song initially appeared on the Foo Fighters' Greatest Hits set as one of the new tracks added for the compilation. When Shinedown hit the stage to perform "Wheels," it was done with a more solemn arrangement with guitarist Zach Myers handling lead vocal duties. Check out the performance via fan-shot video below.

Myers was one of many musicians who posted on socials upon hearing the news of Hawkins death. "If you’ve ever wondered about the impact one human could make on an entire community …. Look at your timeline today," stated Myers. "It’s filled with this man … who was one of the nicest, coolest and most talented people on this earth … You’ll be sorely missed."

Hawkins was found dead on March 25 at the age of 50 just hours before Foo Fighters were set to take the stage for a festival appearance in Bogota, Colombia. An official cause of death has not been revealed. A toxicology report released after his death revealed that Hawkins had 10 different substances in his system at the time of his passing.

In addition to Shinedown, Liam Gallagher, Miley Cyrus, Mammoth WVH, Elton John, Underoath, Slash, Daughtry and Mark Tremonti, Candlebox, Joan Jett, Aaron Lewis and Red Hot Chili Peppers have been among those paying musical tributes to Hawkins.
