A Perfect Circle to Release New Box Set ‘A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo’
A Perfect Circle have just announced the upcoming release of the box set 'A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo.' The new offering will include a live CD/DVD and a bunch of other goodies including lithographs signed by vocalist Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel.
A Perfect Circle haven't made a new full-length album since 'eMOTIVe' came out in November 2004, but interest in the band has remained very high. The group took a break in 2005, which lasted until 2009. A Perfect Circle would go on to play a stretch of live dates, but another studio album has not yet been in the cards.
However, Maynard Keenan posted the following message on Puscifer's Instagram page, teasing the creation of new material for Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer:
For my 666th IG photo, I'd just like to say... Music is happening on ALL fronts. Always. #lightenupfrancis#shitupandletmework #tool2014 @aperfectcircle @tool @puscifer
The new A Perfect Circle box set contains 'Stone and Echo,' a full-length CD/DVD of the band's Aug. 11, 2011 performance at the Red Rock Amphitheater, 'Trifecta,' a multi-disc collection featuring the band's complete discography, 'Mer de Noms,' 'Thirteenth Step' and 'eMOTIVe,' recorded live during A Perfect Circle's handful of three-night, full-album performances with bonus tracks including live performances of "By and Down," "Ashes to Ashes" and "Diary of a Love Song," five hand selected lithographs featuring the personal signatures of both Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel on one of the selected prints, a custom sculpted resin frame designed by the band, a custom made guitar pick designed by Billy Howerdel, which is exclusive to this box set. Even cooler, the collection is bound in a custom-made media book featuring artwork and credits.
This limited-edition box set, pictured above, will run for $149.95 and will become available on Nov. 26. To pre-order 'A Perfect Circle: Featuring Stone and Echo,' click here.
