AC/DC have finally revealed dates for their 2015 North American tour! It's been a long time since the Australian rock titans invaded the States for a full trek, but they're ready to do it again this summer.

The band has announced a total of 13 shows across North America. The run will begin Aug. 22 in Foxborough, Ma. and finish up Sept. 28 in Los Angeles. Canada will be treated to an especially big chunk of AC/DC, with seven of the 13 dates taking place north of the U.S. border. This new run of shows is in addition to the band's upcoming performances at Coachella Festival in Indio, Calif., which takes place over two weekends in April.

It's also been announced that Chris Slade, who performed with AC/DC at this year's Grammy Awards, will be drumming for AC/DC not only for this North American cycle, but on the band's entire world tour. The band previously announced a batch of European tour dates spanning from early May to late July.

“This is an amazing opportunity for me, after all most people don’t ever get to play with their favorite band once, let alone TWICE!" writes Slade. "I would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support I have been shown personally, on the Facebook page and other social media, not one comment has gone unread and it has been very humbling, Thanks so much. We apologize for the secrecy, please understand this was for all the right reasons.”

No official statement has been given regarding longtime drummer Phil Rudd's current position in the band. Rudd is currently facing charges of threatening to kill, meth and marijuana possession in New Zealand. The drummer will head to court on April 21 for a judge-alone trial, meaning no jury will be involved.
