Alter Bridge appear to be upping their game with the music from their forthcoming Walk the Sky album. The band just released the new song "Pay No Mind," which seems to have a more cinematic feel to it.

It's a darker track in subject matter, serving as a warning call for not paying closer attention to a developing situation, but the band's heaviness seems to be accentuated into becoming a bigger sounding track. Take a listen in the player at the bottom of this post.

"Pay No Mind" follows on the heels of the current single "Wouldn't You Rather," teasing the forthcoming Oct. 18 street date for the Walk the Sky album. Like its predecessor, "Pay No Mind" is now available as an instant grat track via digital service providers ahead of the album's release. You can get your pre-orders for the set in right here.

Alter Bridge will hit the road this fall to support the new album. First up will be a North American co-headline tour with Skillet and special guests Dirty Honey that kicks off Sept. 22 in Baltimore and runs through a two-night finale Oct. 24 and 25 in Orlando. After a few weeks off, the band will then head to Europe, kicking off a late year trek Nov. 12 in Copenhagen, Denmark with Shinedown, Sevendust and The Raven Age also on the bill.
