Congrats are in order for Alter Bridge, who won three of the major rock categories in the 6th Annual Loudwire Music Awards. Fans voted the group as Best Rock Band, while also singling them out for Best Rock Album (The Last Hero) and Best Rock Song ("Show Me a Leader").

In the Best Rock Band category, Alter Bridge received just shy of 40 percent of the vote, with Green Day being the closest competitor and Disturbed also putting up a significant voting total.

It was a solid year for Alter Bridge's The Last Hero album, which received 34 percent of the voting tally, outdistancing Green Day's Revolution Radio, which finished second and Rob Zombie's Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, which placed third.

For Best Rock Song, Alter Bridge's "Show Me a Leader" got just over 30 percent of the vote, with Disturbed's "The Sound of Silence" finishing second in the voting and Five Finger Death Punch's "I Apologize" placing third.

While the band dominated the rock categories, Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti each fell a bit short in the individual awards, as they both lost out to Guns N' Roses members. Kennedy, who has won the Best Vocalist of the Year category three times in previous years, came in second this year to Axl Rose, while Mark Tremonti came in just behind Slash in the Best Guitarist category.

Congrats to Alter Bridge on their trio of Loudwire Music Awards victories and to their fans that helped push them to the wins!
