It's already been a busy 2017 for Avenged Sevenfold, who have been performing throughout Europe since the new year started. As they continue to promote their latest album, The Stagethey've already committed to a number of festival appearances and stadium dates with Metallica and have just announced eight headlining shows.

These shows will be mixed in with Avenged Sevenfold's existing tour routing, bringing along Volbeat as direct support on a pair of concerts and A Day to Remember on five different gigs. Check out the newly added stops below along with the rest of the band's North American road schedule below.

Avenged Sevenfold also recently unveiled their newly-minted fan club, Deathbat Nation, which is entirely free and affords fans access to fan club only ticket pre-sales, opportunities to win VIP upgrades, rare and exclusive prizes, early venue access, early access to premium content, exclusive videos and photos, fan club only merchandise designs, opportunities to win access to meet & greets and special “members only” events and more.

Members of Deathbat Nation will also get the first chance to purchase tickets with an exclusive 24 hour pre-sale that starts tomorrow, March 14. To register as a fan club member, click here.

Unfortunately, A7X's 2017 touring has also been marked with tragedy this year as a crew member was killed in an accident while breaking down the band's stage setup in Germany. A stagehand fell from the rafters on top of a 19-year-old man, who died from the injuries. The stagehand was left in critical condition following the accident.
