First off, let's give some credit where it's due. Black Label Society's 'My Dying Time' just entered the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame with five straight victories. Congrats to BLS! But now that the song has been retired, it's time to get two new competitors into the Loudwire Cage Match.

We'll start off with Avenged Sevenfold's 'This Means War.' The heavy drums, the wailing guitar -- there's no doubt it's a full-on fist-pumper! And you can catch the band likely working their latest single into their sets this summer when they headline the 2014 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Dates can be found here.

Their opponent is Seether and their brand new single 'Words As Weapons.' The trio are clicking on all cylinders with the track, which is featured on the band's 'Isolate and Medicate' album and the group is in the process of winding down dates on their spring 2014 touring. Check out their remaining shows here.

These two acts came together for a great cause recently at the Rise Above Fest, but now they go head-to-head in this Cage Match. Take a listen to Avenged Sevenfold's 'This Means War' and Seether's 'Words As Weapons' in the players provided and then tell us which song you think should advance by voting in the poll below.

(This Cage Match will run until Tuesday, May 27, at 11AM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)

Avenged Sevenfold, 'This Means War'

Seether, 'Words As Weapons'

Rules of Cage Match:
Fans can vote once per hour for their favorite song. If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight cage matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
