Buckcherry Unveil New ‘F#CK’ EP + ‘Singles Club’ Release Plans
Buckcherry are stepping up with more music just in time for their summer run as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. The band will serve up the expletive-titled 'F#CK' EP on Aug. 19.
The six-song effort features the infamous "F-word" in the title of each track. The group has already unveiled the song 'Say F#ck It' during concerts. The cut mixes Buckcherry's raw and gritty sounds with the infectiously musical melody from Icona Pop's breakout single, 'I Love It.' Other tracks on the disc include 'Somebody F#cked With Me,' 'Motherf#cker,' 'I Don't Give a F#ck,' 'It's a F#cking Disaster' and 'Fist F#ck.'
Earlier this year, Buckcherry Josh Todd told us, "I'm a huge fan of EPs and I had a lot of 'em when I was a kid, so it's going to be fun to put this one out." Though not giving away the concept, he did state, "It's nasty and it's raw and it's quintessential Buckcherry … It was a lot of fun writing it and it was great to do this EP for me after doing 'Confessions,' cause 'Confessions' was so heavy and deep and this EP is just reckless and fun. It's probably one of my most fun little projects to do." Pre-orders for the EP are currently available at the band's website.
In other Buckcherry news, the band has also launched their 'Singles Club' campaign via PledgeMusic. Those who subscribe will be able to receive the band's new cover songs they've recorded via the site over a six-month period. For additional details, click here.
