Chevelle Unleashing New Album in December

It's been a long time coming for Chevelle fans, but the wait will soon be over as the hard rock act will be hitting the radio soon with the first single from a new album set to drop Dec. 6.

Chevelle announced on their official Facebook page: "'Face to the Floor' will officially be our first single, and it will be released Oct. 10 to radio.' Their as-yet-untitled upcoming album will be their first disc since 2009's 'Sci-Fi Crimes.'

The trio is working on a video for the new single, with the clip set to be wrapped up in a few weeks. Not to mention the band is also coming out with a song for the soundtrack of the upcoming film 'Underworld Awakening' due out in January 2012.

"We are looking forward to finally playing some new music on tour," state Chevelle, who are currently out on the road with Filter and Bush through an Oct. 28 show in San Antonio. Click here for tour dates.
