You have not entered the Matrix, but it may feel a bit like it when you check out Code Orange's new video for "The Mud." The video for the song, which is part of Adult Swim's 2017 Singles Series, premiered on the Adult Swim website and can be seen in all its visual majesty above.

The animated video was directed by Dmitry Zakharov and Code Orange's Shade and together they came up with a brutal visual to go along with the heavy music. The clip centers on a near skeletal figure who emerges from a world of dark cords to find himself struggling to survive, crawling across a desolate landscape. Adding to the anguish of the scene, shots of blood colored particles and tightening chains haunt the figure who forges on, only to be seemingly locked in on by an approaching ferocious looking animal.

In addition to its inclusion in the Adult Swim 2017 Singles Series, "The Mud" features on the band's latest album, Forever, which is out now. The disc is available in both digital and physical formats.

Meanwhile, you can look for Code Orange doing a lot of tour hopping over the next few months. The group is currently touring with Gojira and Torche, and will join up with Hatebreed, Dying Fetus and Twitching Tongues in late November / early December. They've also been selected to be part of The Dillinger Escape Plan's final shows in late December with fellow supporting act Daughters. In the midst of all this touring, there are also some Code Orange headline dates and festival appearances. See where they're playing when listed below and for ticketing info head here.
