Drummer Austin D’Amond left Chimaira back in September -- a day before frontman Mark Hunter announced the end of the group. Now, D'Amond has found another band. He's joined DevilDriver, replacing John Boecklin behind the kit.

Boecklin and guitarist Jeff Kendrick left DevilDriver, the Dez Fafara-fronted band, in October of last year. Shortly after their departure, Fafara announced DevilDriver were on hiatus and that he would be focusing on his other group, Coal Chamber. “DevilDriver will be back, make no mistake of that, in 2016 with a new record which we are already writing, tours around the world and the massive pits you have all gotten used to,” Fefara said.
