When Five Finger Death Punch comes to town, it’s always high energy. Over the weekend New York fans got sweaty as the band played to a full house at Best Buy Theater for a sold-out show. Escape the Fate, Miss May I and Gemini Syndrome all offered blistering support.

With two albums dropping in the same year and massive amounts of touring behind them and lots more ahead of them, Five Finger Death Punch have had one hell of a year. ‘The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume Two’ is due out on Nov. 19 and fans are already responding positively to the new single 'Battleborn.'

The crowd also heavily embraced other new songs from 'Volume One,' released earlier this year as fans belted out “Burn motherf----er, Burn mother---er, Burn!” during “Burn MF” as well as ‘Lift Me Up’ and their compelling rendition of LL Cool J’s ‘Mama Said Knock You Out.’

The reason why Five Finger Death Punch have consistently gained so many zealous fans is because people have such an intimate and unique experience at their shows. Whether Ivan Moody gives you a hug after you’ve crowd surfed or guitarist Jason Hook sings lyrics directly to you or Zoltan Bathory throws a guitar pick your way, the experience of seeing the band live is nothing short of a party.

Fellow Las Vegas group Escape the Fate graced the stage as fans shouted “Choose your fate!” The band is touring in promotion for their new album ‘Ungrateful,’ but their fans were incredibly grateful as the band played newer tunes like the title track and ‘You’re Insane.’

There was a very diverse audience with such an eclectic lineup and the younger metalcore fans welcomed Ohio act Miss May I, who performed their set with some serious fortitude. Meanwhile, for their first time in New York City, Gemini Syndrome won over some East Coast fans. They opened up the show with one hell of a set and ended their performance on a high note as members humbly stuck around and greeted fans warmly.
