Foo Fighters and Eddie Vedder are among the big-name acts performing at the 2011 Bridge School Benefit Concert taking place Oct. 22 and 23 at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, Calif.

The annual event, organized by classic rocker Neil Young and his wife Pegi, raises money for the Bridge School in Hillsborough, Calif. The nonprofit institution provides education to children with severe speech impediments and physical impairments.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the benefit concert, which will feature the Foos playing the Sunday (Oct. 23) show and Vedder performing during both days. Other acts on this year's bill include Young, Beck, Dave Matthews, Mumford & Sons, Arcade Fire and Carlos Santana.

Last year's Bridge School Benefit featured performances by Pearl Jam, Modest Mouse, Billy Idol, Buffalo Springfield and others.

Tickets for each day of the 2011 Bridge School Benefit Concert go on sale Sept. 16 at LiveNation.com. A touching lineup announcement featuring students at the educational facility can be seen below.
