Foo Fighters vs. Stone Temple Pilots – Cage Match
This one went right down to the wire, but Foo Fighters’ “The Sky Is a Neighborhood” edged out Marilyn Manson’s two-time Cage Match champ “KILL4ME” and will advance to face a new opponent. The melodic track has become a fine addition to the band’s catalog and will step up to face a new challenger.
For their opponent this week, we have another band that has experience dating back to the ‘90s, although they do have a new vocalist. Stone Temple Pilots introduced Jeff Gutt as their new singer last fall and immediately put him to work on the new song “Meadow,” which has been received well by longtime fans and enjoyed a steady climb up the charts.
But which of these veteran acts has your favorite track? Will Foo Fighters start to build a streak with “The Sky Is a Neighborhood” or will Stone Temple Pilots stroll to victory with “Meadow”? Here’s your chance to let us know your favorite. Listen to both songs in the players below, then vote in the poll provided.

Rules of Cage Match:
Fans can vote once per hour for their favorite song. If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight Cage Matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
