The Glorious Sons Release Anxiety-Ridden New Video for ‘Panic Attack’
Canadian rockers The Glorious Sons are back with a brand new song and video for "Panic Attack." This is their first single since "Sawed Off Shotgun," which spent several weeks at the very top of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
We had the opportunity to sit down with the band at Sonic Temple to discuss the group's endeavors going forward, including their upcoming performance opening for The Rolling Stones.
"I think that it all has a chance to live in the 21st century — it doesn't have to sound like the '70s and it doesn't have to sound like the '60s," vocalist Brett Emmons says of the current scope of rock 'n' roll. "It's all about speaking to the youth of today and experimenting with the tools that we have now in 2019, and ushering the new generation of guitar music at this point." Watch the full interview above.
"Panic Attack" is yet another step forward the band — the anthemic tune and metaphorical video hone in on the power of anxiety and the suffocation experienced while in a state of panic. Emmons wails words of desperation, "I'm not prepared for this/Tell me I'm not dying," as he is strapped to a chair with plastic wrapped around his face. Check out the video below.
The Glorious Sons will open for the legendary Rolling Stones later this month (June 29) before heading out on tour with The Struts. See the dates below.
