Gojira picked up their first win this week in our Death Match after defeating thrash legends Testament. Gojira's track 'L'Enfant Sauvage' is proving to be one of the most exciting songs of the year, but another band with a sterling reputation for composition and musicianship is ready to challenge the French metallers with a spacey new jam.

Between the Buried and Me showcase some of metal's greatest pure musicians on every instrument, and thus have been able to create arguably the most accessible yet complex music in modern metal. BTBAM have just released 'Telos,' the first piece of 'The Parallax II: Future Sequence.' As the full-length follow-up to the band's 2011 EP, 'The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues,' BTBAM's upcoming album will continue the galactic tale birthed on the first 'Parallax' release.

Can Gojira bake up a second Death Match win like a buttery croissant? Or will Between the Buried and Me pour six feet of dirt upon the French foursome? Both bands' fates, as always, are in your hands. Vote for your favorite track in the poll below!

(This Death Match ends on Tuesday, July 31, at 10AM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)

Gojira, 'L'Enfant Sauvage'
Between the Buried and Me, 'Telos'
