A saxophone solo in a Jimmy Eat World song? That's what it comes down to in the final minute of "All the Way (Stay)," the first single from the band's upcoming tenth album Surviving. The new tune was shared Monday (Sept. 23) alongside a fresh recording of the group's previously released "Love Never."

Surviving hits the streets Oct. 18. It's again produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Nine Inch Nails, Beck, Paramore), who previously worked the controls for the Arizona rockers' 2016 effort Integrity Blues. Meldal-Johnsen also produced an earlier version of "Love Never," issued last year alongside non-album cut "Half Heart." A Daniel Carberry-directed music video for "All the Way (Stay)" is available to view now. See the clip, and check out the new album artwork and track listing, down toward the bottom of this post.

"Surviving explores some of the different kinds of weights my ego tells me I have to carry, what I see people around me choosing to carry and what I have found to be the truth when I choose to let go," Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins said of the upcoming album.

An accompanying concert jaunt in the United States dubbed "Surviving, The Tour" kicks off later this fall. (See the dates below; a special trio of release week shows in the United Kingdom precedes the U.S. dates.) Ticket pre-sales start Monday and go on-sale to the general public this Friday, Sept. 27, at 10AM local time.
