If you've been watching TV over the past week, odds are pretty good you've caught Guns N' Roses' 'Sweet Child O' Mine' in a new commercial spot, but it's entirely possibly you may not have immediately recognized it. That's because a cover version of the song, softened considerably with a mesmerizing children's choir, has soundtracked the new Johnson & Johnson spot.

The clip, seen below, puts the spotlight on families -- mothers and fathers with infant children, grandparents with their grandchildren and so forth -- as Johnson & Johnson seeks to re-establish their brand in the marketplace as a leader in creating products for family usage. As shots of various family scenarios transition across the screen, the female narrator states, "Love, it's the most powerful thing on the planet. Love is family. Love is the reason you care for the tiny and fragile." Meanwhile the angelic children's choir deliver the dreamy rendition of 'Sweet Child O' Mine' in the background before the tagline of "For All You Love" ends the spot.

For those wondering, the Capital Children's Choir is responsible for the recording. The London-based outfit, led by Rachel Santesso, recorded their version of the Guns N' Roses favorite back in 2008 and the song is currently available here.

The New York Times reports that the national spot marks Johnson & Johnson's first corporate branding campaign in over a decade. The company, beset by a few public relations setbacks over the last few years, decided to get back into the promotional game with this new spot.
