The supergroup Killer Be Killed are getting closer to releasing their self-titled debut disc and they've decided to share a new song with their fans. The group took to their Facebook unveil the tune 'I.E.D.' which can be heard above.

The hard-hitting track is as brutal as the explosive title would suggest. Amid the heavy wall of sound created by the band, drummer Dave Elitch's fast-paced drumming cuts through and really propels the song.

Along with Elitch, who previously kept the beat for The Mars Volta, Killer Be Killed includes The Dillinger Escape Plan's Greg Puciato, Soulfly's Max Cavalera and Mastodon's Troy Sanders. Puciato recently stated, "There would be no point in doing this if it sounded the same as our other bands. Of any of our bands, it sounds the furthest away from mine, mainly because Dillinger is Ben [Weinman]'s expression, musically."

Sanders added, "Having met, created and recorded an album together, this experience has easily exceeded my initial expectations. The collective energy and mutual respect for one another eased the entire process and has been very therapeutic for me."

Killer Be Killed's debut disc is due on May 13 via Nuclear Blast. You can pre-order the effort via Amazon, iTunes or the band's Nuclear Blast online store page.
