Municipal Waste’s Dave Witte Talks ‘The Fatal Feast,’ Cory Smoot Benefit Show + More

Virginian thrashers Municipal Waste are currently on a must-see tour with Ghoul and intergalactic warmongers GWAR. Before the band took the stage at New Jersey's Starland Ballroom, we had a chance to speak with Municipal Waste drummer Dave Witte.

We recently posted our exclusive video interview with GWAR front-thing Oderus Urungus, but now we give you our second video interview from the show. (Check out our review of the face-melting thrash-fest here.) Dave Witte is an incredibly versatile drummer, having manned the kit for Discordance Axis, Burnt By the Sun and many other bands along with Municipal Waste.

We spoke to Witte about the inception of Municipal Waste, the band's new record, 'The Fatal Feast,' being included in MetalSucks' greatest modern metal drummers list, performing at the second benefit show for late GWAR guitarist Cory "Flattus Maximus" Smoot and much more.
