As usual, there aren't too many new releases in December, but we're still here to let you know what you may want to check out.

Mastodon are bringing their live show straight to you with 'Mastodon Live at Brixton.' The digital release showcases Mastodon's 2012 at London's O2 Academy and will come in both audio and video formats.

Just in time for the holiday season, Slayer have announced the re-release of 10 albums on 180-gram vinyl. Starting from 'Reign in Blood,' each Slayer album will be reissued along with the 1991 double-record 'Decade of Aggression: Live.' Nightwish will also put out a release in December with their 'Showtime, Storytime' (DVD/CD).

Other releases include a re-recording of Crown the Empire's 'Limitless,' Evergreen Terrace's 'Dead Horses,' Benedictum's 'Obey' + more.
