While December is traditionally slow for new rock releases, there are a few notable albums coming out in the final month of 2011.

The biggest releases of the month all fall on Dec. 6, with new albums from Korn, Chevelle and the Black Keys all dropping that day.

Korn are delivering their dubstep disc 'The Path of Totally,' which features current single 'Narcissistic Cannibal.' Chevelle are back with 'Hats Off to the Bull,' powered by first single 'Face to the Floor,' a song inspired by the notorious actions of convicted Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff. And the Black Keys are unleashing 'El Camino,' which boasts the chart climbing single 'Lonely Boy.'

Another big release is the retrospective set 'Made in Germany 1995-2011' from German industrial metal veterans Rammstein. The compilation, which drops Dec. 13, includes the new single 'Mein Land.'
