Here they come, here they come! Late last year, Pop Evil teamed up with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rapper Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels of Run-D.M.C. to give their chart-topping single 'Trenches' a spiced up remix. And now the pair have filmed a video for the popular remix, which we are proud to exclusively premiere here at Loudwire.

As can be seen in the gritty, performance-based video above, the chemistry from Pop Evil frontman Leigh Kakaty and DMC is undeniable and the bond they've created from working together on the remix spilled over onto the Rock on the Range Stage in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend.

In a powerful moment, Pop Evil not only performed 'Trenches' with DMC, but also brought up 13 Marines showcasing the 'Lima Company of Eyes Freedom Memorial' to stand behind them during the performance. The Marines held full size plaques honoring the 23 fallen men who served in the Marines Corps' Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines.

"The guitar riffs screamed in my ear as the song started," stated SSGT-USMC Tony Storey. "The crowd seemed to be a rolling mass of people, jumping in unison, fueled by the energy of the band." As Storey and the other Marines entered the stage, they were greeted with overwhelming cheers and praise from the audience and were greeted warmly by the band and crew as well.

Storey added, "In my mind, I thought, 'People thank us for serving, so that they can enjoy times like this, but it's because they enjoy times like this that we willingly fight for them. I see the rowdy crowd rocking out with Pop Evil, with DMC, being watched over by United States Marines, it personified this idea." You can watch the powerful moment in the video below.

Pop Evil are currently on the road with Avatar and all of their current tour dates can be found at this location. If you enjoy the Pop Evil and DMC remix of 'Trenches,' it's currently available at iTunes.
