Pop Evil are tearing it up at rock radio with the current single "Footsteps," but before their new album drops, the band wants to give you another taste of the upcoming disc. As such, they've just released a rocking new track called "In Disarray."

Frontman Leigh Kakaty tells Billboard, who premiered the track, "It definitely has a different musical texture than anything we have previously released. There’s something about this song that didn’t make us second-guess releasing it as our next instant-gratification track. We are humbled by the success so far, and can’t wait to spread the word with these songs with our live show."

The vocalist also revealed that the song came from "a personal awakening," adding that after the darkness of the band's Trenches album, the band needed to approach music from a different viewpoint. "It was so important when writing this new album to put the darkness behind us and start focusing on a positive mindset," says Kakaty. "One step at a time, and we look forward to the future through hard work and persistence. We're coming!"

"In Disarray" is featured on the band's forthcoming album Up, due Aug. 21 via eOne Music. Digital and physical pre-order packages can be found here. And look for the band building the buzz for their new disc on tour at these locations.
