Queens of the Stone Age are making sure their fans are more than prepared for the band's '… Like Clockwork' album, and that includes a very high profile two-night guest appearance on 'The Late Show With David Letterman.'

The band will play the June 5 and 6 episodes of the CBS late night staple, showcasing still-to-be-specified tracks off of the '… Like Clockwork' album. The group has a rich history with 'The Late Show,' having performed such favorites as 'Little Sister,' 'No One Knows,' 'Go With the Flow' and '3s and 7s' on the show in the past.

The appearances are just part of the promotional blitz for the new record, which has already seen five animated videos surface online for the tracks 'I Appear Missing,' 'Kalopsia,' 'Keep Your Eyes Peeled,' 'If I Had a Tail' and 'My God Is the Sun.'

In other promotional news, Queens of the Stone Age are performing their full '… Like Clockwork' album in its entirety Thursday night (May 23) in Los Angeles. The show will be streamed via NPR at this location. The '… Like Clockwork' album is due June 4 and is currently available for pre-order via iTunes.
