- Taking Back Sunday have parted ways with Eddie Reyes, one of the founding members of the band. "Personal reasons" were cited in the statement for the guitarist's exit. The band will hit the road starting on April 26, and a replacement for Reyes was not revealed.

- Courtney Love has weighed in on the death of film director Milos Forman over the weekend. "He was always gentle and always brought out my best," Love stated. "I was surrounded by love on both of my films with him, and other than Kurt and Frances, they remain the highest points in my life." She appeared in Forman-directed films The People Vs. Larry Flynt and Man on the Moon. Forman passed away Friday (April 13) at the age of 86.

- According to Billboard, Thirty Seconds to Mars will debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart this week. That would be their high water mark as a band. Underoath also had a solid week as their Erase Me disc arrived at No. 4.

- Trivium's Matt Heafy came to the aid of security at a recent show, helping out by catching an incoming crowd surfer mid-song, as seen in the video posted here.

- Skindred are ready to share their latest "big ting." Check out the clip for their new song "That's My Jam" off the upcoming Big Tings album. The video can be seen here, while the album drops April 27.

- AWOLNATION have posted a concert video of their performance of the high energy track "Burn It Down" with special guest Duff McKagan from a March 15 show at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. Watch the clip here.

- Epica got an assist from Lacuna Coil's Cristina Scabbia on "Storm the Sorrow" during a recent show in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Watch fan-shot footage here.

- Though no further word has come on his hospitalization, it was business as usual for Joe Lynn Turner's socials. The new song "Only the Good Will Survive" from his current project Sunstorm has been released, with the track appearing on the upcoming disc The Road to Hell. Take a listen here. - It's on! While Night Demon have spent plenty of time in Europe, the band will be making the trip across the pond to play a leg of North American tour dates in August. The "Darkness Over North America" tour Aug. 8 in San Francisco. See all the stops here.

- Visual artist Derek Hess, who has created countless album covers, will release his new book, "31 Days in May: A Visual Journey." In association with Mental Health Awareness Month, the book will be released next month, providing a collection of images showcasing his battle with the Dual Diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse. - Razorwire Halo have just unveiled a cool new video for their fuzzed out rocker, "Sweat." Watch the visually interesting clip right here. The song is featured on their recently released EP Retaliate.

- Crank it! Red Devil Vortex have revealed a hard-hitting performance video for their song "Something Has to Die." Watch the clip here and look for the song on their EP of the same name, due May 8.
