The Used are set to return to the scene with an upcoming album titled ‘Vulnerable’ that's scheduled to drop in early 2012 via the band's own label, Dental Records.

The disc is being produced by Goldfinger frontman John Feldmann (Atreyu, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Attack Attack!).

In an interview with PunkVideosRock, frontman Bert McCracken talks about the forthcoming record by saying, “It’s done, it’s almost done, it’s being mixed up right now, it’s beautiful, it’s really really gross pop music and that’s what it’s all about.”

Not only will ‘Vulnerable’ be the band's fifth studio release but it’s the only one that will not be released via Warner Bros. / Reprise Records, their former record label which they departed from after 10 years.

“We’re all done with Warner Brothers, we just started a record label called Dental Records and it’s all about the love of music, really, you know, no one’s standing in our way to love music” McCracken continues.

The tentative release date for ‘Vulnerable’ is February 2012. Fans can expect the band to hit the road in order to promote the new album early next year. “If you live anywhere, you’ll be able to see us every where,” says McCracken.
