Heavy Montreal just got heavier! The festival, which already counts heavyweights like Five Finger Death Punch and Disturbed amongst its ranks, has just added a handful of acts to the already stacked two-day lineup that boasts Nightwish,Volbeat, Mastodon and Breaking Benjamin as well.

Metalcore stalwarts Trivium, deathcore titans Suicide Silence, Sebastian Bach and his golden set of pipes, the frenzied chaos of the Dillinger Escape Plan and Swedish doom legends Candlemass will all be a part of Heavy Montreal, which will be held on Aug. 6 and 7 in the festival's namesake Canadian city.

Trivium will be out in support of their 2015 effort, Silence in the Snow. Suicide Silence are expected to release a new record this year. Sebastian Bach will be promoting his upcoming autobiography18 and Life on Skid Row. The Dillinger Escape Plan have confirmed they are in the studio and Candlemass will be releasing the Death Thy Lover EP in June.

Other acts include Killswitch Engage, Black Label Society, Ghost, Zakk Wylde, CarcassSuffocation, Blind Guardian, Alter Bridge, Fear Factory, Saint Asonia, Repulsion and more. Passes are still available in a variety of options including single day and special Gold packages which offer premium reserved seating near the main stage, access to private bathrooms and exclusive food and drink areas.
