First it was ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic, now it’s Chilli from TLC. Weezer teamed with the girl-group legend at Coachella over the weekend to perform “No Scrubs” for the festival crowd.

Weezer covered “No Scrubs” for their Teal Album earlier this year, which also features the band’s viral rendition of Toto’s “Africa.”

After hearing the band’s version of the ‘90s anthem, Chilli commented, “When I heard it, I loved it! They did a great job. I hope we can perform it together … It feels really good because when you’re in the studio working, you hope and pray that you make songs that have longevity. And we have, so that’s a blessing. I’m telling you, I wanna reach out to [Weezer] and try to make this performance happen!”

The crowd sounded a little timid at first when Rivers Cuomo delved into the song, but after Chilli made her presence known, the festival erupted and sang along.

Weezer and Chilli thanked each other for the collaboration via social media:

Weezer's set also featured one more guest cameo, as Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal from Tears for Fears joined the group for their cover of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World." Watch a bit of that below.
