What a year 2019 is turning out to be, and there's still a lot of the musical story left to be told. The rock world is off to a solid start for the year thanks to a mix of fresh up-and-comers and seasoned vets and in this feature we're taking a look at the Best Rock Albums of 2019 ... So Far.

Though January can at times be a bit of rough go for music fans, Papa Roach made sure to kick the year off on the right foot, with their Who Do You Trust? album. Living up to the title, the band continued the renewed energy shown by their previous effort, giving us one of 2019's first major releases. They're joined on this list by such fellow rock vets as Bad Religion, Bring Me the Horizon, Rival Sons and others.

We also got some welcome solo albums this year, with Andy Black stepping out from Black Veil Brides for his more personal release, The Ghost of Ohio. Meanwhile, Duff McKagan stepped out from his GN'R duties to deliver the prescient rock record, Tenderness.

And of course, we need some bands to help push the genre forward, and acts such as Badflower, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Puppy and Twin Temple are certainly doing their part.

Take a look at the gallery below as we praise the Best Rock Albums of 2019 ... So Far, and come back often as we'll update this feature throughout the year. If you don't see your favorite below, be sure to check out out our metal albums list.
