Although it has seen different lengths and styles over the years, Sanchez's hair has been a cornerstone of Coheed and Cambria's public image. Many fans only know the band with his long hair, much like Disturbed's David Draiman and his chin piercings, or Hollywood Undead and their masks.

In other Coheed news, the band recently released their latest studio album, Vaxis - Act 1: The Unheavenly Creatures. The group dove back into the multifaceted storylines that weave through the universe of The Amory Wars, which the band has comprehensively -- and sometimes confusingly -- addressed in their other albums and comic books.
