It's been a busy year for Corey Taylor, who not only is promoting Stone Sour's upcoming 'House of Gold & Bones Part 2' album, but has also enjoyed some extra recognition for his collaboration with Dave Grohl, Rick Nielsen and Scott Reeder on the single 'From Can to Can't' that's part of the soundtrack for Grohl's 'Sound City' documentary. Loudwire recently spoke with Taylor, who revealed that he's thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Grohl and still has a few names on his dream collaborator list.

Taylor tells us, "I love making music and I love working with other people cause you get such a different perspective about how you make your own music sometimes. There's a handful of people that I would love to work with. At the top of that list now, since Dave [Grohl is] not on that list anymore [is Nine Inch Nails mastermind] Trent Reznor. I would love to do something with Trent. I would love to do something violent and dark with Trent."

But the list doesn't stop there. The singer says he'd welcome a chance to step outside of hard rock and metal as well, adding, "To be honest, and this comes out of left field, but I would love to do something with Jay-Z or Eminem. I have no limitations when it comes to the stuff I want to do musically. So to be able to do something like that I think would be really, really cool."

Though he's bound to be plenty busy with Stone Sour's upcoming album, touring, comic book series and potential 'House of Gold & Bones' films, plus a few Slipknot gigs this year, Taylor says he's got a few interesting endeavors tucked away for when there's some free time. He reveals, "There's a handful of musical projects that I want to do on my own that I would love to bring other people in to do, now that I'm getting some clout and being regarded a little more respectfully. But we'll see how the future pans out."

Speaking of that future, the next step for Taylor is the release of 'House of Gold & Bones, Part 2.' The disc is due April 9 and can be pre-ordered here.
