Fear Factory to Perform ‘Demanufacture’ in Full on 2016 U.S. Tour
The rumors were true! Just a couple days after a tour poster and a handful of dates were leaked, there is confirmation that Fear Factory will be hitting the road in the United States to perform their legendary 1995 sophomore album Demanufacture in its entirety. Joining the mechanized warriors on the trek will be Sweden's Soilwork, who will be promoting their 2015 effort, The Ride Majestic.
Fear Factory spent the last part of 2015 touring Europe and delivering the album in full to their fans, but vocalist Burton C. Bell had reservations whether or not the tour would culminate stateside. He doubted promoters were interested, but the winds of change have blown good fortune in the way of both the band and fans. "To me this album sounds not one day older today than it did in 1995," reflects guitarist Dino Cazares, "It's a metal classic for the ages and I'm excited that we are finally going to be able to perform it live in its entirety + songs from Genexus. Play fearlessly."
Demanufacture is 55 minutes of pioneering industrial metal that helped changed the shape of heavy music in the mid '90s. As Cazares stated, the group will be playing songs off their latest release, Genexus, which was released in August of 2015 and reached No. 37 on the Billboard 200. New cuts include "ProtoMech," "Dielectric" and "Soul Hacker," falling in line with some of the band's best recorded work to date.
All of the dates for the tour have not been announced as of yet, but the run will take place from at least March 22 through May 7, extending to both coasts.
