"Not in this lifetime, huh?," reads the caption on the new video posted to Guns N' Roses social media. Though the band just played in Las Vegas over the weekend, the first show of Axl Rose's onstage reunion with Slash and Duff McKagan took place at the Troubdour in West Hollywood on April 1, a week prior, and this was no April Fool's joke.

In the highlight reel, you see time lapse footage of the re-creation of the former Tower Records lot on Sunset Boulevard into the staging area to purchase tickets for the West Hollywood show at the Troubadour. The store was also set up to house the Blaine Halvorson-curated Guns N' Roses exhibit for fans to reflect on the past. A few of the fans in line for tickets also shared their excitement over the chance to be the first to see the band play on this tour.

The video also takes viewers inside the Troubadour itself for the sizzling performance of the current lineup, which features a mix of classic era and most recent era players. Rose was in fine form for the lineup's debut, while McKagan and Slash appear to be enjoying themselves as they rock through favorites like "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Live and Let Die." Meanwhile, the audience was hyped throughout with arms raised to the sky during the set cheering on the band. As we would later learn, Rose broke his foot during the L.A. performance. At this weekend's Las Vegas performance, he was seen using Dave Grohl's guitar throne that the Foo Fighters frontman employed when he broke his leg. Check out the video below:

As for the title "Not in This Lifetime," that's become the name of the tour referencing Rose's onetime comment about the possibility of reuniting with his fellow former bandmates. As we now know, this reunion with Slash and Duff McKagan returning is one of the hottest tickets going. To purchase tickets for the show in your area, check out Ticketmaster here.
