Brian 'Head' Welch, guitarist for Korn and frontman of Love and Death, contributes a popular monthly column called 'HeAd's KoRner' to Loudwire. In his newest entry, Head checks in from Korn's co-headlining 'Night of the Living Dreads' tour with Rob Zombie and shares details and video (watch above) of a special moment that happened onstage. Man, I know I've said it before, but it feels so good to be in the mix with all my old touring buddies. These are my people, this is my tribe, and I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. Things just seem to keep getting better and better.

It's been a long time since I've toured with our ol' buddy Rob Zombie. If memory serves me correctly it was on the 'Rock is Dead' tour, but my memory has failed me before so I could be wrong. The photo below of my daughter's tour laminate will give you an indication of how long ago that was. My daughter is 15 now.

Man, these shows have been off the charts! We are playing smaller cities and you can feel how hungry all these fans are for rock music because not many concerts come to town for them. The energy has been incredible!

Zombie and his wife Sheri Moon have always been really cool, but it seems to me there's even more of a connection on this tour. Zombie's band members have changed since the 'Rock is Dead' tour, and you can tell the band is in a good place -- everyone's been having a killer time!

I know John 5 & Ginger Fish from when they both played in Marilyn Manson. I told John 5 the other day that he's every thing I wanted to be as a kid. He plays a guitar solo every night that has everyone in the arena cheering & screaming at the top of their lungs -- including me! It's great to get to know him because I don't remember hangin' with him much in the past with how wasted I was all the time. Piggy D. is the only band member I've never met, and he's way cool, too.

I gotta give it up for the Zombie, KoRn & Scar the Martyr crew members. They are really kickin' ass to make this show look and sound absolutely incredible. They are a big reason the shows are so killer. I always like to say God's gonna have all the rock stars be the roadies in the next life, and our roadies will be the rock stars, haha.

Scar the Martyr are amazing as well. Joey from Slipknot (also drummer for Scar the Martyr) has filled in for both Korn & Zombie in the past so there's all kinds of love there. The other band members in STM can throw down too! I watch 'em every night and they bring it, so come early!

We want to invite all you crazy ass rock 'n' roll junkies to come out to the show and spread the word! A couple of the shows are sold out, but there's still tickets left for most of them.

Check out the video above of Zombie playing 'Am I Evil?' by Diamond Head, with special guests -- yours truly and Munky from KoRn.
