Killswitch Engage Accepting Audition Tapes for New Singer
With all the attention that has built up around Killswitch Engage in the last five days, fans are foaming at the mouth to learn who may become the next vocalist for the metalcore band. Turns out one of those very fans could become the next KsE frontman, as the band is now accepting audition tapes.
Whoever replaces former Killswitch frontman Howard Jones will certainly have some big shoes to fill. Jones helped bring the band to the very top of the metalcore ladder for over a decade with his powerful scream and operatic voice, which seemed to have the power to blow the roof off of any stadium.
Killswitch posted the following message on their website:
We’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about the singer position. If you are interested, please send an MP3 or a song link, a photo and a brief description of yourself to the management email address provided in the contact section of KillswitchEngage.com.
This potential opportunity could lead to a new, fan-fronted Killswitch Engage. Much like Tim "Ripper" Owens and Judas Priest, which was the base for the film 'Rock Star' with Mark Wahlberg.
If you think you've got the pipes to lead Killswitch Engage in the next part of their career, get the hell off the couch and record yourself singing!
