Killswitch Engage’s Adam Dutkiewicz Has Over a Dozen New Songs Demoed for Next Times of Grace Album
When Times of Grace debuted with The Hymn of a Broken Man in 2011, it was a chance for Killswitch Engage fans to hear the combined efforts of Adam Dutkiewicz and Jesse Leach once again as this was prior to Leach's reinstatement as Killswitch's frontman. Now, the end of the studio drought for Times of Grace appears to be approaching an end!
Talking with Australia's Maniacs TV (video below), Dutkiewicz and Leach answered fan questions, which spilled over from Killswitch Engage to Times of Grace. Dutkiewicz provided an update, stating he's made major progress on the forthcoming sophomore album. "We're in the middle of getting some ideas together. I've demoed 13 songs, I've done vocals for two," the guitarist began.
"So I think [Jesse's] has got to write a bit more and we need some time to sit down and actually go over some stuff and I think we'll have a record," Dutkiewicz concluded. "We need to not tour for a little while so we can gather our creative energies," added Leach.
Hymns of a Broken Man ascended to No. 44 on the Billboard 200 in its first week, also shifting 10,000 copies in that same week. Since the album's release, Leach has cut two records with Killswitch Engage -- Disarm the Descent and Incarnate.
