The folks at influential Los Angeles station KROQ-FM have been putting on their 'Almost Acoustic Christmas' shows for a quarter of a century now and they pulled out the stops for their 25th Anniversary. This year's shows will take place Dec. 13 and 14, with Linkin Park and System of a Down heading up the opening night, while U2 and Weezer lead the night two lineup.

The opening night finds Los Angeles-based rockers Linkin Park and System of a Down leading the way along with another of L.A.'s local favorites -- Incubus. The rest of the lineup for night one features Rise Against, Bush, Fall Out Boy, Royal Blood, New Politics and Walk the Moon.

The second night features U2, who are making their first-ever appearance at the radio festival. As stated during the announcement, the night two lineup was meant to feature bands that have spanned the radio station's history. Joining U2 on the bill will be '90s favorites Weezer and Smashing Pumpkins, '80s alt rock heroes Tears for Fears as well as modern rock acts Modest MouseInterpol, Imagine Dragons, Alt-J and Vance Joy.

Tickets for the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas shows will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 14 at 12PM PT via Ticketmaster. You must be a member of the station's KROQ Street Team in order to receive the exclusive password to purchase tickets. For more ticketing details, click here.
