There was a lot of love for the ladies in rock and metal in 2015 as evidenced by the voting in the 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards Rock Goddess category. Congrats are in order for In This Moment's Maria Brink who earned the title of "Rock Goddess" as bestowed by the Loudwire readers for her efforts in 2015. This marks the second time that Brink has earned the honor, having won two years ago in the 3rd Annual Loudwire Music Awards.

Brink was bolstered by In This Moment's Black Widow album, which added such standout tracks as "Sick Like Me," "Big Bad Wolf" and "Sex Metal Barbie" to their growing list of radio hits. The vocalist also brought her powerhouse vocals as a special guest to one of the biggest duets of the year -- Papa Roach's single "Gravity." Maria remained one of the more magnetic performers in rock with the band's stylish and visually appealing live show and she also made the transition to video director this year, co-directing the "Big Bad Wolf" video and solely directing the band's "Sex Metal Barbie" clip.

Maria earned a whopping 47 percent of the vote, with Halestorm's Lzzy Hale finishing a close second, while the Butcher Babies duo of Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey placed third in the voting.

Congrats again to In This Moment's Maria Brink for her big year, earning the Rock Goddess victory at the 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards. In This Moment will start 2016 on tour in the U.K. Be sure to catch Maria Brink and her band at these locations.
