Playing guitar in front of a rock star would be daunting for most teenagers. Which is why Gear Factor host Carmen Mark DiGiacomo -- aka "Squiggy" -- didn't tell young Keona Lee that when she was trying out the new signature guitar by Between the Buried and Me's Dustie Waring and Alter Bridge leader Mark Tremonti's new signature amp, that both musicians were standing right behind her.

After trying out the guitar/amp combo, Ms. Lee gave the products her approval, which was fortunate, because that was when Squiggy revealed that she had been performing in front of the two musicians whose signature models she was using.

She impressively kept her composure. "You guys like Maiden?" she asked, before playing the "Two Minutes to Midnight" riff.  Ms. Lee won a shredding contest held by Squiggy's Music Experience at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, Calif. last year, and here, she demonstrates her chops.

Meanwhile, Squiggy kept busy at this year's NAMM Show; he also spoke with Alice Cooper's guitarist Nita Strauss about her new signature Ibanez guitar. Read more about our new Gear Editor, Squiggy, here.
