Congrats are in order for Motley Crue, who are following Disturbed and Megadeth as the initial entrants into Loudwire's Classic Cage Match Hall of Fame. The band did by winning five battles in a row with their song 'Wild Side' off their 1987 album 'Girls, Girls, Girls.'

The high-energy rocker made a beeline through some of the biggest hard rock hits of 1987 on their way to achieving the honor. Their run began as they edged out Guns N' Roses' 'Welcome to the Jungle' with 55 percent of the vote. Whitesnake's 'Here I Go Again' proved no match for Motley in their second Cage Match. 'Wild Side' also stepped it up with 62 percent of the vote against Def Leppard's 'Armageddon It.'

Motley Crue took just shy of three quarters of the vote over Poison's 'Talk Dirty to Me' and they ended their five Cage Match streak by besting The Cult's 'Love Removal Machine.'

Our congrats to Motley Crue, the third act to enter the Loudwire Classic Cage Match Hall of Fame. Take one more listen to Motley Crue's 'Wild Side' below. Check back for our next Classic Cage Match battle.
