Mushroomhead are the latest band to endure the dangers of the road. The group was en route to a show over the weekend when their bus was involved in an accident involving two other vehicles.

The band's turntablist Richard "Stitch" Thomas revealed the news in a social media posting, complete with photos of some of the wreckage.

"Never a boring moment on tour," starts Thomas. "Two cars collided in front of us on the highway just outside of Houston, TX. We couldn't stop and slammed into them at about 60mph. Everyone is ok, including the people in the vehicle we hit. On a charter bus now and trailer is getting towed to Scout Bar. The show must go on!!!! I'm not big on religion but someone was looking out for us today! Call your mothers!" See his posting below.

Mushrooomhead are in the midst of a U.S. tour with dates booked into early June. The band will catch a bit of a breather before returning to the road for a brief run in July. They also have performances booked in the U.K. this November. See all of their scheduled dates and ticketing information here.
