Welcome to this quarterfinal matchup of March Metal Madness 2014. The goal of this year's bracketed competition is to find the greatest metal album of the 21st century. We're now down to eight contenders, with two heavyweights battling it out to come out of the Stage Dive Region.

Slayer's anti-religious opus 'God Hates Us All' has defeated two century-defining albums so far in March Metal Madness 2014. The disc took out Pig Destroyer's 'Terrifyer' in the first round before beating the Dillinger Escape Plan's 'Ire Works' in Round 2. After two wins against some of the most original metal created in the 21st century, Slayer face perhaps the most experimental metal band to achieve mainstream success in the 2000s.

System of a Down's massively successful sophomore album, 'Toxicity,' entered March Metal Madness 2014 against Ghost's 2013 breakthrough recording, 'Infestissumam.' After gaining a victory over Ghost, System of a Down entered a tough battle against Opeth's 'Blackwater Park.' After their win over Opeth, System of a Down move forward once again. Can the modern metal masters SOAD take down the thrash masters of Slayer?

(This poll will end on Sunday, March 23 at 11:59 PM ET. Fans are able to vote once per hour, so keep coming back to make sure your favorite album wins!)
