Slipknot’s Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan Thanks Fans After Daughter’s Death
Slipknot percussionist Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan has issued a letter of thanks to fans following the death of his youngest daughter, Gabrielle Crahan. The musician also gave thanks on behalf of his family during this tragic time.
Gabrielle Crahan’s death was revealed over the weekend via Slipknot’s social media platforms. A potential cause of death has not been announced, but in Crahan’s obituary, Gabrielle’s battle with drug addiction is mentioned, noting she fought it bravely for both herself and others who struggled.
Crahan is also remembered for her support for feminist and anti-bullying initiatives, as well as pit bull advocacy. The obit adds she “found a higher power which guided her through the tough times and good” throughout her final years.

Firstly: Chantel, Alexandria, Gage, Simon and I would like to thank everyone for the endless amount of love, prayers, thoughts, and kindness we have been receiving. You have all proven that there is empathy, positivity, & strength in this community that we call humanity here on Earth.
