A few weeks ago, Tom Morello premiered the new track 'Marching on Ferguson' during a benefit concert in Los Angeles. Now he's recorded a studio version of the politically charged track to help support the protestors who were arrested in the aftermath of the Michael Brown shooting death in Ferguson, Mo.

You can check out the song below and if you like what you hear, you can get a free download of the song at Ferguson October. The site is a collaborative effort with hundreds of organizations uniting to seek an end to police violence in black communities.

Morello has donated his track to the 'Artists for Ferguson' campaign. While the song is available for free download, a donation is suggested to help out the legal funds for Ferguson protestors. All of the profits from the donations will go toward defending the protestors in the Ferguson area who have faced "attacks, wrongful arrest and violence" from the police.

The guitarist says, "I've witnessed countless incidents of racially motivated police brutality in my lifetime and it's time to say 'Enough!' in the name of all those wrongfully killed and abused. For all the courageous men and women raising their voices against injustice in Ferguson, and beyond, give 'em hell. This song is for you."
