On the final night of the seven-day 2011 Rock in Rio Festival, Guns N' Roses took the stage as the closing band, performing in front of hundreds of thousands of screaming maniacs in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 24-song set included solos, instrumental jams from the band and classics such as 'Welcome to the Jungle,' 'Sweet Child O' Mine' and 'Paradise City.'

Guns N' Roses set the mood with sinister classical music before kicking the night off with 'Chinese Democracy.' After finishing their first song, Axl Rose addressed the crowd, saying, "Good evening! Good morning! Now, please bear with with a us and give us a little bit, a little second here to figure out what to do about not falling on our asses. I'm going to try to focus on singing rather than running around like an idiot. I'm better at being an idiot."

The crowd exploded as the band tore into 'Welcome to the Jungle,' but unfortunately Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal had trouble with his solo due to struggles with a Star Wars "stormtrooper" helmet. Guns N' Roses also stunned the Brazilian crowd by playing 'Estranged,' a track that hasn't been performed live by the band since 1993.
