Clutch have been touring in support of their 11th studio album Psychic Warfare, and New Yorkers are no strangers to these Maryland rockers. We saw them earlier in 2015 at Central Park and they ended the year with a very special show at Terminal 5.

The soundtrack throughout the night in between sets was appropriately Motorhead in honor of Lemmy Kilmister, who passed away Dec. 28 at age 70. Before Clutch came out onstage, the crowd sang out loud to the Motorhead anthem, “Ace of Spades.” Frontman Neil Fallon and his crew kicked off their headlining set with notable tunes “The House That Peterbilt,” “Burning Beard” and “The Mob Goes Wild” -- and the crowd did in fact go wild.

Clutch dedicated one of their newer tracks “Noble Savage” to Lemmy. They cranked out other fresh songs off Psychic Warfare, from “X-Ray Visions” and “Firebirds!” to the eclectic “A Quick Death in Texas” and “Our Lady of Electric Light.” Fans sure had a blast throughout the evening and the night came to an end with a very sweaty performance of “D.C. Sound Attack!” and “Earth Rocker.”

Another band that brings good ol’ rock n' roll to the stage is Crobot, who took the stage beforehand. Having personally seen them live 11 times in 2015, Crobot are one of the most talented and hardworking bands out there today. Each member is exciting to watch onstage and vivacious frontman Brandon Yeagley has endless charisma onstage. The band has been hard at work touring in support of their first album but they also played brand new songs “Fat City,” “Play It Cool” and “Easy Money” from their upcoming studio release. It’s no wonder their first album is called Something Supernatural, seeing Crobot live is nothing short of an extraordinary experience. Whether you see them once or 11 times in a year, the band is continuously electrifying.

Virginia rock act Valkyrie kicked off the night with a lively set filled with heavy riffs and melodic vocals. The band was on tour in support of their latest release Shadows.
